This summer of 2022, Sony unveiled its new range to great fanfare: Inzone. For the first time, the Japanese company is releasing its own headsets and PC gamer screens, which were developed for the PS5, among other things. You know Sony like we do, the workmanship of the products is at the top, the quality is assured… but the prices are still quite high. Released for $99, the Inzone H3 clearly didn’t offer value for money. In 2022 it’s quite difficult to imagine budgeting around $100 for a wired headset! When a nice promotion arrives, that’s different. Today the Inzone H3 is sold at -30% at Micromania. We therefore find the beast at $69 instead of $99. Lots before the holidays.

The Sony Inzone H3 headset: a safe bet on PS5?
At JVTECH, we love Inzone’s product designs that capture every detail of the coveted PS5. While these products have a special connection to the Sony console, the brand has naturally designed its range to be compatible with other things. The H3 works just as well on Nintendo Switch, PC and even the Xbox series (although it would be a bit of perjury to play Xbox with a Sony headset).
The H3 is a helmet with remarkable finishes, solid and comfortable. Sound quality, the taff does the job but we still feel like it’s not a high-end product. You know us, we’ve obviously extensively tested the beast and you’ll find that full and independent review in our columns. For people who don’t want to sift through thousands of words and technical terms, here’s our test engineer Olivier’s conclusion:
Compatible with many platforms, the Sony Inzone H3 is a headset that blows hot and cold. Comfortable with large heads, it adapts poorly to smaller ones. He uses a good finish and makes a certain choice of entry-level materials. Taking advantage of a good sound on the microphone, given the rather high price, in our ears it is a bit disappointing in terms of performance.
Fortunately, this high price can go down! Today it even broke in two. Before we wrap up, it’s important to point out that Sony’s Inzone H3 headphones still offer Spatial Sound for Gaming technology, which virtually transforms 2-channel stereo audio into 7.1-channel surround sound. On the PC you have the Inzone software Hub that allows you to adjust the sound to your liking.
For less than 70$ it’s finally worth it.
