This fall, Microsoft and Sony will be launching their new next-gen Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 home consoles. According to recent rumors, the Microsoft console will probably be a bit more powerful, the Sony console may be a little cheaper. But which console should you finally use? Players around the world also ask this question to veterans of the game industry – and sometimes get surprising answers.
Mike Ybarra stepped down from Microsoft last year to join cult developer Blizzard Entertainment. Given his previous role as Corporate Vice President of Gaming at Microsoft aka Xbox Vice President, his answer to this question may be clear, isn't he?
Far from it, because Ybarra actually made the surprising answer via Twitter: He would actually prefer buying the PS5 over the Xbox Series X. Anyone who senses a completely brazen overflow as a Microsoft fan should be a bit deceived in view of Ybarra's reasoning.
PS5. Will play Xbox exclusives on PC. Wish they were all on PC!

The former Xbox vice wants to lead to the apparently numerous planned exclusive titles from Microsoft, but hopes that these will appear for the PC. He would then gamble on this platform, so far as Microsoft is loyal. The result would be that the PS5 would be the perfect addition, since it would not have to do without the best Microsoft content – like the Halo Infinite, which was also planned for PC – and could still watch Sony's exclusive games.
Have you already thought about which console you want to use?
