Call of Duty Modern Warfare has been released for different platforms. But the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S achieve top graphical performance in equal measure, as a video shows.
Digital Foundry made a comparison to the new shooter on the next-gen consoles and found almost no differences.
As usual with other games for PS5 and Xbox Series X, you can also play Call of Duty Modern Warfare on the consoles in 4K, while on Xbox Series S only dynamic 1440p is possible.
FPS drops on Xbox Series X/S
The shooter can be played at 60 frames per second (FPS) and is very stable. Only at one point does the Xbox Series X experience an FPS drop, but the frame rate only dropped slightly below 50 FPS.
With the Xbox Series S, however, the result looks a little different, because the “Wetwork Mission” of the campaign in particular shows frequent drops in the frame rate at 60 FPS.
