Rainbow Six: Siege is Ubisoft's most successful service game in the long term. No wonder the French developer does not intend to end this success with the next generation of consoles. Now it has been announced that the multiplayer shooter will also appear for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X as soon as they hit the shelves next winter. Of course, the game director Leroy Athanassof did not yet give a specific date, since this would of course reveal the hardware's launch day, but the community was by no means divided.

"What I can reveal is that we will be at the start of the launch […] but it is up to you to agree to it. In any case, our goal for victories is to be available right at the console launch," says the interview With Windows Central
Ubisoft would also like to make the progress of the game between the consoles usable. But it is much more a question of regulations on the part of the hardware operator than one of the technical restrictions.
