PUBG: Battlegrounds has been on the market for a long time and has shaped an entire genre. Only the popular Steam competitor Epic Games Store has not been able to get the good piece so far. Anyone who relies on this sales channel will soon be heard.
Krafton announced today that PUBG: Battlegrounds will soon be launched on Epic Games’ gaming platform, giving PC gamers another alternative.
From December 8th at 1:00 a.m. PUBG: Battlegrounds will also be playable via the Epic Games Store. It will be available for pre-download on the store page before the official launch after live server maintenance is complete.
With this move, Krafton aims to bring even more players together in PUBG: Battlegrounds, something they’ve been committed to since the early days of the game’s Early Access. In the Epic Games Store, PC players can expect the same service as on Steam. And: Players from both platforms can even gamble together via cross-play.
To celebrate the launch of the game on the Epic Games Store, players can get the “PUBG Founder’s Pack” as a free DLC via the store page from December 6th to January 5th, which includes various in-game cosmetic items .
