Players of the long-running battle royale PUBG: Battlegrounds can look forward to the next major update. Version 13.1 is now available on PC and consoles.
With the new version 13.1, the recently published Taego map has been improved in various places. For example, emergency aircraft landings are introduced at the beginning of some matches. If you fly over the map, it can happen that the aircraft’s engine explodes and you are forced to make that emergency landing. If you don’t jump before the plane lands, you’ll start the match with only 50 percent HP.
The map changes are by no means all of the update content. So there is a new ranking season, adjustments to the Sanhok map and more. The most important features are officially stated as follows:
- New ranking season: Update 13.1 introduces a new Ranked Season, which will automatically add any rewards earned during Ranked Season 12 to players’ inventories. Ranked season 13 will run for two months, similar to the previous ranking seasons.
PC players can try the title, including all updates, for free on Steam until August 16. You can see the patch report video for version 13.1 attached.
