Not only in the big brother PUBG: Battlegrounds, Ubisoft’s successful series Assassin’s Creed arrives as part of a crossover, but also in the mobile spin-off PUBG: New State. In addition, there are even more new things to discover.
Krafton has given the go-ahead for the big August update in the mobile offshoot PUBG: New State; this can now be downloaded and installed on both Android and iOS. With this update, Ubisoft’s successful Assassin’s Creed series is also included in this PUBG part as part of a cross-over event.
Iconic outfits from the action series are now available on the Battle Royale battlefields on your mobile devices. There are also Assassin’s Creed style items and rewards to be had. Detached from the special event, Krafton also has a new sniper rifle and the brand new Survivor Pass Vol. 10 ready for you.
From the official side, the most important innovations are stated as follows:
- Mastering the art of camouflage: The collaboration with Ubisoft’s best-selling Assassin’s Creed launches today in New State Mobile and runs through September 22nd. During this period, players can get the outfits of two iconic characters from the hit series: Ezio Auditore da Firenze, a popular character in the Assassin’s Creed series since Assassin’s Creed II, and Shay Patrick Cormac from Assassin’s Creed: Rogue. In addition, players can obtain more than 30 unique Assassin’s Creed costumes, weapon skins, and items through limited-time events and cooperative crates.
- New State Labs open to experiments: Open now, New State Labs will offer experimental content that will allow players to experience new settings and in-game features before anyone else. The lab’s first test feature is Akinta: Bounty Royale, a project that’s not about pure survival skills, but about fighting for a prize. It will be available until September 22nd. A maximum of 36 players can compete in third-person squad mode on the new map Akinta. A round of game tickets has been awarded to a selection of players, but others can also take part in the project by receiving an invitation ticket. Such invitation tickets can be purchased by the selected participants or earned through community events.
- The Lynx AMR complements the arsenal of sniper rifles: A new sniper rifle, the Lynx AMR, is ready for its debut in New State Mobile. The Lynx AMR uses 50 BMG ammo and can be picked up in care packs on all maps. In addition, there is a chance that it will appear in the gun crate at the police station in Chester, Troi. Players should be wary of the Lynx AMR as it deals the highest damage of any sniper rifle and is extremely effective against enemies and vehicles even at long range. After the preloaded 10 bullets are used up, no additional ammunition can be reloaded, only used for the scope.
- Survivor Pass Vol. 10: The August update introduces a new Survivor Pass focusing on the hacker Shy-D from the Dream Runner’s faction in New State Mobile. By completing all story missions, players can get all of Shy-D’s costumes and face skins for free. Players who upgrade to the Premium Pass can get the Dream Runner costume set, additional exclusive rewards, and faster progression.
