For a long time, Krafton has been working on the modern interpretation PUBG: New State. Now the new Battle Royale title also has a release date.
As part of a one-hour showcase, Krafton has finally announced the release date for the futuristic battle royale spin-off PUBG: New State. The makers of PUBG: Battlegrounds therefore want to release the latest offspr ing of the franchise in the coming month of November; there will be a final test phase beforehand.
From November 11, 2021, the good piece should be officially available for iOS and Android in more than 200 countries around the globe. In the run-up, there will be a final test phase in 28 countries from October 29th to 30th; German-speaking countries are unfortunately not included, as this test mainly focuses on Asia and the Middle East. Closest to Europe is Turkey.
PUBG: New State is a free-to-play title that will initially be available for mobile devices. At the start, the futuristic interpretation of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available in 17 different languages. The game will be played in the year 2051, the weapon and game mechanics should be comparable to the main part for PC. Due to the slightly futuristic setting, there should also be some original gameplay functions and the ability to make weapon adjustments.
Four maps are on board for publication, including the Map Troi, which has already been presented in more detail; However, the classic Erangel is also represented. After the release – this has now also been communicated – should continue with comprehensive content updates. Among other things, there is a season-based service that will also focus on gameplay balance. Krafton also wants to ensure fair matches through a strict anti-cheat strategy.
PUBG: New State already has more than 50 million pre-registrations on iOS and Android, so the next success story for the studio is already beginning.
