Krafton recently surprised everyone with the announcement of a new PlayerUnknown’s Battleground, subtitled New State. The futuristic offshoot has become a success even before the actual release.
Fans of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and those interested in Battle Royale will apparently remain loyal to the franchise in the future. The recently officially announced and futuristic-themed PUBG: New State has already mutated into a first success for Krafton.
As the company was able to announce, within the first week of the announcement and the start of pre-registrations on Google Play, a whopping five million players registered and took the step of pre-registration. For a game that hasn’t been released yet, that’s quite a mark.
Pre-registrations are still open Google Play possible. Anyone who does this can secure an exclusive vehicle skin for later and will in future be provided with the latest information about the mobile action title. Pre-registrations will be possible in Apple’s App Store at a later date, which has not yet been specified.
In the further course of the year, PUBG: New State will initially appear in an alpha phase and be extensively tested. The date for this is also still pending.
