Fans of PlayerUnknown’s Battleground can look forward to futuristic supplies starting today. The new title PUBG: New State is now available.
Krafton has kept its word and treats all Battle Royale fans to new gaming fun for on the go. The next part of the PUBG series called PUBG: New State has now been released as announced in more than 200 countries for iOS and Android. A final technical test in the run-up to the release of the full version was carried out at the end of October.
The same developer studio is responsible for PUBG: New State as for the long-running PUBG: Battlegrounds, which has sold over 70 million times on consoles and PCs. The futuristic new mobile spin-off is a free-to-play title that is initially available in 17 different languages and is intended to offer an unrestricted battle royale gaming experience on the go.
The setting is set in 2051, i.e. in the near future. Accordingly, the Battle Royale title should not only be realistic, but also technologically advanced. In a statement about the launch, the creators were confident that they would be able to meet the expectations of the fans with their own title. PUBG: New State is supposed to be “the best mobile gaming experience” in the genre for the next few years.
Compared to the main game, new gameplay features have been integrated, including the customization of weapons, the drone store and the player recruitment system. At the start there are also three different game modes (Battle Royale, 4v4 Deathmatch, Training Grounds) as well as the Troi and Erangel maps. Monthly survivor passes are designed to keep you hooked and unlock new items on a regular basis.
Even before the start, PUBG: New State counted an incredible 55 million pre-registrations.
