Anyone who plays the futuristic mobile spin-off PUBG: New State can look forward to fresh content again. A new update also brings McLaren into the game.
Krafton has now announced a new partnership with McLaren Automotive for the March update of PUBG: New State on Android and iOS. As part of this cooperation, the 765LT super sports car will be featured in the Battle Royale hit. This is the latest in a line of Longtails, and is also the most advanced LT model the manufacturer has ever built.
You can use the new vehicle equally on the Troi and Erangel maps. There are also exclusive vehicle skins in a limited-time McLaren 765LT crate. The 765LT is available in five color variants, McLaren Orange, Luminaire Green, Sunset Orange, Thunderbolt Blue and New State Special.
In addition to the vehicle, the March update also brings a new survivor pass, the revision of the long-standing PUBG map Erangel and the new MG3 weapon. You can also look forward to additional weapon customization slots for the Vector and the Mini-14.
The most important innovations according to official information at a glance:
- Survivor Pass Vol 5: The March update introduces a new Survivor Pass featuring Cynthia Strong from Project Justice for New State Mobile. Players can earn Cynthia Strong’s costume and character’s appearance by completing all story missions. Players who upgrade to the Premium Pass will also receive Cynthia Strong’s Shadow Assassin costume.
- Revision of Erangel: Erangel has received an update mainly focused on the southwest region of Erangel’s northern island. Avanpost is a new location on the map, while a factory has been added to the quarry and a new loot slot has been added to the ferry dock. These additions offer a new and improved loot and combat experience for players entering Erangel.
- New weapon – MG3: The MG3 is a fully automatic LMG with 7.62mm ammunition and a 75-round magazine. It has two rates of fire – 660 RPM and 990 RPM, with the default rate of fire set at 990 RPM and dealing the most DPS of any weapon with the 990 RPM setting. This new weapon will spawn in supply packs on every map and has a chance to spawn in the weapon crate located in Chester Police Station on Troi.
- New weapon customizations: With the March update, the Vector and Mini-14 will get a second slot to further improve their weapon customization and durability. The Vector can now be equipped with a drum magazine that holds 45 rounds, but this significantly reduced the weapon’s reload speed. The Mini-14 now features an open stock slot to accommodate tactical stock attachments that improve stability and recoil control and reduce ADS speed.
- Seasonal events: Along with the new update, a cherry blossom-themed lobby and various events will be introduced to celebrate the new season and the beginning of spring! Players can participate in the events to earn various spring-themed rewards, including a Cherry Blossom Weapon and Cherry Blossom Profile Frame.
