PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has not said its last word and offers on May 20 on PC, and a week later on consoles and Google Stadia, the arrival of update 7.2.
The update 7.2 allows players to access the classified mode or to discover new features such as additional game mechanics for the petrol can, the arrival of the A.I. and new fixes.
So we start with the classified mode! Available from May 20, 2020 on PC and from May 26 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia, this new mode allows players to prove themselves by participating in more competitive matches than before thanks to the arrival of 'a new system rewarding the actions of players. In this classified mode therefore, 64 players will compete for first place, aerial bombardments will no longer be in the game and a better loot will be distributed more quickly thus allowing to highlight the confrontations between players.
In addition to adding a classified mode or even the A.A. in classic modes, PUBG Update 7.2 will allow players to discover new ways to use the jerry can. From now on, the tool is no longer simply used to refuel the vehicle, it can now be used as a devastating explosive projectile. When you launch the latter, the jerry can pour when the fuel hits the ground. Players can also pour the flammable liquid gradually on the road, ideal for setting traps for opponents. However, after a few minutes, the liquid in contact with the ground will evaporate.
Update 7.2 also performs some fixes, starting with a general balancing of weapons. Some assault rifles undergo a slight improvement since their recoil is reduced, however, the damage of the M416 has been reduced. For their part, the shotguns are more efficient and now inflict 1.5 times damage to the head against 1.25, and 1.05 times to the members against 0.9.
As a reminder, the update 7.2 of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is now available on PC on the test servers.
