PUBG Corp. apologizes for PUBG's recent problems with server and gaming performance.
a lot of PUBG The community and one of its hottest shows are frustrated by bugs introduced by the latest patches and unstable servers.
Developer PUBG Corp. decided to address all of these complaints in a blog post. Developers have revealed that the server of the game has been under DDoS attacks in recent months. These attacks peaked in November last year and have risen again this month.
This is what causes problems with player server performance, as anyone on the affected server will inevitably suffer. PUBG Corp. has attacked this in two ways: protecting the game internally and deploying the solution by a service provider.
Unfortunately, the developers noticed that some of these "experimental DDoS defense solutions" caused some players to lose packets. However, this work was clearly successful, reducing the impact of DDoS attacks by 85%.
As for the sudden poor performance and stability of the game on the PC, PUBG Corp. said that these problems started with the January update. Developers are still trying to figure out the cause, but said that the problem seems to be limited to certain hardware configurations, making it harder to copy and fix.
Custom games are another area that has deteriorated over the past few weeks. PUBG Corp. says it is working to fix saved custom presets, but the process will take time. Unfortunately, this issue is a side effect of back-end adjustments to custom matches.
Finally, issues affecting the recently launched Team Deathmatch mode, such as extended play times and overpopulated teams, have been resolved.
The developer wrote: "We know that there are many other high-priority issues that affect gameplay."
"One of our main goals this year is to make the work we are doing more transparent, so we want to send you this letter to address some of the more important issues we have encountered recently."
