Ares Ragnarok Coming soon, Digital Foundry recently got hands-on with Kratos’ latest adventure.
According to Digital Foundry, even in its pre-release state, Ragnarok feels incredibly polished… without actually having any stutters, glitches, or any other weirdness. ”
With zero bugs or visual glitches, everything “feels perfect”.
Digital Foundry said that while the game didn’t push “technical limits,” the presentation was “so beautifully realized and tightly coupled that it’s hard not to be impressed.”
The game’s cuteness is even more apparent when played on the PS5 via a 4K 120Hz-capable TV. DF recommends you play it in high frame rate mode as it “feels the most responsive and you really lose very little in terms of overall image quality and detail” [because] It looks fantastic. “
If you don’t have such a TV, use the 60Hz performance mode to play games instead. Frame rates remained solid, with “excellent visual qual ity,” making it one of the most consistent 60fps games DF has seen on a console.
There are four graphics modes available, and the main complaint seems to be that the quality mode “doesn’t offer as many leaps as possible”.
Of course, Digital Foundry’s analysis of games doesn’t stop there. Click the link and read the full report.
Ragnarok will release on PS4 and PS5 on November 9.
