Pretty much everyone who has ever been on YouTube should know Raid: Shadow Legends. The mobile RPG has sponsored every channel at some point and doesn’t shy away from collaborations to generate new fans.
For the current event, Plarium has teamed up with Capcom and crosses Raid: Shadow Legends with the popular Monster Hunter series. From January 9th to March 5th, 2024, you can secure five legendary champions and equip them with armor and weapons that are of course designed for Monster Hunter. They come from the beasts Alatreon, Fatalis, Nergigante, Rathalos and Zinogre.

You can get the five champions in different ways, for example you can get the Rathalos Blademeister through a loyalty program. This requires you to log in to Raid: Shadow Legends on seven different days during the event. There are dedicated timed events for the other champions.
In order to be truly true to the original, the abilities of the weapons and armor are also based on those from Monster Hunter. If you have had experience with Capcom’s series, some of the skills and their associated equipment will be very familiar to you.
Ronen Gross, Vice President of Business Development at Plarium, is excited about the collaboration: “We’re excited to introduce players to an exciting new selection of champions based on some of the most acclaimed monsters from the world of Monster Hunter. It was “It was an incredible experience working with Capcom to align both worlds and create something that felt familiar but also completely unique.”
Maybe the collaboration will actually be an incentive for some of you to give Raid: Shadow Legends a chance. As a Monster Hunter fan, I’m definitely as close to an installation as I’ve ever been. Maybe it will bridge the waiting time until Monster: Hunter Wilds.
