Railway Empire 2: Next DLC heads for India

DLC, Empire, heads, India, Railway

Kalypso Media continues to work on new content for Railway Empire 2 and has now announced a new DLC on the topic of India.

Kalypso Media and Gaming Minds Studios will soon be delivering the next DLC for the long-running hit Railway Empire 2. In “India” – you’ve probably already guessed it – the railway management simulation is heading for India and the huge subcontinent there.

The new additional content includes extensive plains as well as huge megacities. There you have to build up the railway network in order to make more profits. You take on the role of a manager of the East India Company at the height of its power. Later, the action of the DLC pack jumps forward a few decades to the time when the British crown begins to further expand the infrastructure and take over the East India Company’s monopoly.

Otherwise, the DLC offers a variety of freight options with four new Indian locomotives, such as the Fairy Queen or the BNR Class N. Five other locomotives have been reworked, and you can expect three fully voiced scenarios, the new India map, 16 new regional products for transport and 20 new, thematically appropriate pieces of music.

The India DLC will be available for Railway Empire 2 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S from October 15, 2024 for 10.99 dollars.
