The highlights of the roadmap
New maps: It’s been three years since Rainbow Six: Siege got new maps. That’s why there are three new maps for multiplayer distributed over the seasons. We don’t know much about the respective cards yet. So far it is only known that the first map is a country club in Ireland. The location of the second map is Greece.
Reputations-System: A reputation system is to be gradually introduced throughout the year. In Season 4, each player gets their own sub-item in the menu where they can check their reputation level and even get rewards for behaving in their games at high levels.
The new modes: Whether it’s team deathmatch from Season 1 or a permanent arcade playlist: By the end of the year you will have a large selection of different modes to let off steam outside of the competitive mode. The shooting range is a special highlight, because you can finally practice the recoil patterns of the individual weapons there.
Attacks Repick: As an attacker in the preparation phase, having the choice to change your operator can change matches completely. The extent to which this affects the balancing can only be said at a later point in time.
New operator for Season 1: Azami

Ubisoft introduces the new operator Azami
With Azami, for the first time we get an operator who doesn’t destroy walls, but can close them again. It’s already pretty safe to say that she’ll have a big role in upcoming games as she’s unique in her ability. Unpopular spots on maps could become true favorites thanks to Azami. But even in heated situations, walls that were previously destroyed could be quickly closed again if the attackers take too much time. A big plus is that you can use the throwables from a distance without exposing yourself to danger.
