Fortnite has impressively demonstrated how successful crossovers between Battle Royale games and films can be: Characters from Terminator, Predator, Star Wars, Ghostbusters and many other well-known franchises have already appeared here – and thus contributed to billions in sales, the Epic Games each Year with his service game.
Now Activision apparently also wants to saddle up on this successful concept with Call of Duty: Warzone.
Indications of Rambo’s appearance in Warzone emerged
Even if it makes almost no sense at all story-wise, there are now increasing indications that it actually becomes one John Rambo appears in Warzone could come. The iconic 1980s action hero and Vietnam veteran is known not only as a highly skilled green beret, but also to some legendary sayings.
The official Call of Duty account now shared a graphic on Twitter that suggests that the elite fighter will arrive soon:

When a fan suggested that some action heroes from the eighties – such as Rambo or Chuck Norris – be brought into play, the Twitter account responded with a telling thought-provoking emoji.

What could Rambo’s appearance in Warzone look like? It would be conceivable that a unique cosmetics bundle will be published in the in-game store, which could contain a Rambo skin including additional cosmetics items such as weapon blueprints, sprays or business cards.

Incidentally, Rambo would not be the first famous film character to appear in Warzone: During the last Halloween event, Jigsaw (known from the Saw films) and Leather (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) were up to mischief.
