Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is not always the focus of reporting, but is certainly considered a great next-gen hopeful. Nothing stands in the way of the punctual release in a few weeks.
As is well known, Insomniac Games continues the classic Ratchet & Clank game series and delivers a real next-gen title for the PS5 with Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Even if the game does not receive the greatest attention in contrast to other series, it is still considered to be the absolute bearer of hope for the new generation of gaming. Whether the title lives up to its advance praise should be seen in just a few weeks.
Nothing stands in the way of the punctual release on June 11, 2021. As the developers confirmed via Twitter, the long-awaited gold status has been achieved. The development work is now officially completed and the game is now being reproduced for the classic retail version in the press shop.

Until the launch, the makers will make further optimizations, which should then result in a day-one or at least timely patch after the release – as is almost common nowadays. Either way: Nothing stands in the way of next-gen enjoyment on the PS5 in just a few weeks.
In Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, the two eponymous protagonists are given a new hero in Rivet. Together they must take on Emperor Nefarious in multiple dimensions. You will get to see some well-known environments as well as completely new levels.
During Sony’s new State of Play, there was a whopping quarter of an hour of gameplay from Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, including some of the weapons and scenes with Rivet.
