We expected it! The conclusion to The Last Kingdom has just been released and is already a huge hit.

Seven Kings Must Die, an expected conclusion at the turn

After a successful season 5, the conclusion of The Last Kingdom was more than expected by all fans. On this occasion it must be said creation once canceled by the BBC after just two seasons and taken over by Netflix, decided to abandon the serial format in favor of a two-hour film for the occasion, just that.

Carried by Ed Bazalgette, the director who has already created several episodes of seasons 3 and 4, this conclusion, entitled The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die, is already a major critical acclaim.

After the death of King Edward, Uhtred of Bebbanburg and his allies continue to fight through a fractured kingdom in hopes of finally uniting England. Summary available on Allociné

90% for completing The Last Kingdom!

On April 14, Netflix released the conclusion of The Last Kingdom, which is nothing other than the adaptation of the novel The Saxon Chronicles by Bernard Cornwell. Contrary to previous proposals, this unreleased work concluding the adventures of Uhtred de Bebbanburg, embodied on the screen by Alexander Dreymon, is therefore a feature film. It seems that this choice was a good one as the film Seven Kings Must Die was awarded the lowest rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

As a matter of fact, Ed Bazalgette’s feature film received a score of 90% from a total of 10 critics. The viewers, for their part, are more strict, opting for a nice 77% for more than 250 opinions in total. However, all is not rosy for The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die, as if we look at Metacritic we observe a score of just 45%. However, this note should be taken lightly, as only 5 ratings are listed at the moment.
