Maurizio de Pascale, technical director at IO Interactive, was interviewed by the Xbox site. During the interview, a question was asked about the famous integration of ray tracing technology:
January 20th is just the beginning of a journey as we continue to work on the game and add new features to it. It’s great that the X | S series is compatible with ray tracing. We have already started working on RT technology for the Glacier engine and once it is ready for prime time we will definitely get it into the hardware of the X | Integrate the S series.
So this is just the beginning for Hitman, but we also assume that for the other titles, which will undoubtedly have the right to technical patches of this type in the future, all the hardware of the new consoles can be used.
The game has been available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and PC since January 20th, not to mention you can obviously find it Plumes TEST on this to give you an idea.
