Razer is once again expanding its portfolio and wants to conquer the hearts of PS5 and PC gamers alike with the Wolverine V2 Pro wireless controller.
Razer today announced the Wolverine V2 Pro, a feature-packed wireless pro gaming controller for PlayStation 5 consoles and PC. The Razer Wolverine V2 Pro comes equipped with Razer HyperSpeed Wireless, offering a fast 2.4GHz wireless connection to PS5 consoles and PCs via the included USB Type-A dongle.
Interestingly, the Wolverine V2 Pro has asymmetrically offset analog sticks, similar to Xbox gamepads, rather than the usual level sticks found on official PS5 controllers. There are also a lot of configurable additional keys on the bottom.
Mecha-Tactile Action Buttons with just 0.65mm of actuation travel, 30% less than the average membrane controller, are designed to ensure fast button inputs. An 8-way micro switch D-Pad is built in for precise control in fighting games. HyperTrigger technology also allows gamers to switch triggers from long key travel (useful for racing games) to lightning-fast clicks for fast execution (best for shooters and action games).
With six programmable buttons and interchangeable analog sticks, the Razer Wolverine V2 Pro offers numerous custom layouts for every playstyle: players can assign preferred commands to the four additional triggers and two custom bumpers, and customize the controller with two additional analog stick attachments. The controller also supports Razer Chroma RGB.
The Razer Wolverine V2 Pro is available to pre-order now from GameStop and Razer.com and Razer Stores for $299.99 MSRP.
