Passionate photographers are far from giving up their hobby just because of exit restrictions. If you can't walk the streets of the real world, then virtual worlds have to serve!
Under the hashtag #virtualstreetphotography, artists share their best shootings on Instagram, including numerous contributions from video games. And the results are definitely impressive: we have some of the most beautiful pictures from Red Dead Redemption 2
For example, thanks to Red Dead 2, photographer Craig Whitehead (@sixstreetunder) found a way to continue taking great pictures. For him, riding around and looking for motifs is relaxing – he plays RDR2 "like a kind of hiking simulation". Street photography artist Nico Froehlich (@nicofroe) is looking for the same colorful images in Saint Denis that he would take in the real world:
For street photographer Nick Fabian (@sleepingastronaut), the atmosphere in the world of RDR2 is very impressive. He captures a mysterious mood in his pictures:
Games other than Red Dead Redemption 2 are also used by photographers to continue their pursuit:
Games are not only used to continue to pursue a passion, they are also used to teach or organize meetings: there is a state Minecraft server for children in Poland. And in Japan, schoolchildren also got their graduation ceremony virtually in the block world.
