Realm of Ink emulates Hades, but does not rely on Greek mythology, but rather a Chinese setting that presents itself like a work of ink art. However, the gameplay focuses on the roguelite elements and the trailer shows you more of both! Here you can see a complete boss fight in which the protagonist Red has to assert herself against Animitta Asura. A variety of weapons and skills are used. Aside from that, the game features numerous different environments, each with its own aesthetics and challenges. Realm of Ink launches in early access on May 17th, putting it in direct combat with the current genre king Hades 2.
