Rebellion: Sandstorm is finally officially released on the console.
Rebellion: Sandstorm Developer New World Interactive announced today that the long-awaited console version of the game will be released this summer. Sandstorm will be available on PS4 and Xbox One on August 25.
The console version brings the same content available on the current PC to the player on PS4 and Xbox One. This includes competitive multiplayer games with various modes, as well as Sandstorm's cooperative mode. Player customization will also transition.
This is the first console game for New World, so we hope to hear more about console versions soon. Some technical details, such as frame rate and whether aiming assistance will be provided, remain to be clarified.
The console version will also be available at the PAX East booth (# 29017) of the publisher Focus Home Interactive this weekend, so if you want to participate, give it a try. Capture today's announcement trailer below.
