The Red Dead Redemption 2 story NPCs are actually immortal. If we take on important characters during the missions as Arthur, this inevitably leads to the failure of the respective missions and their restart. Regardless of how we as Arthur Morgan would like to put a bullet between the eyes of our "buddy" Micah Bell …
Abigail's "Death" destroys the Red Dead canon
A Red Dead Redemption 2 player still managed to join Abigail Marston a key figure in history to murder the Van der Linde gang. And thus created a time paradox. After all, Abigail is alive as the wife of John Marston at the beginning of the first Red Dead Redemption, which takes place after the events of Part 2. Confusing, I know.
And he didn't even do it on purpose: on Reddit, grievous-gaming shared an admittedly pretty gorgeous clip in which John and Abigail talked to each other during the epilogue to Red Dead Redemption 2. Because he was getting too close to a cliff as John Marston and trying to position Abigail’s character, the poor woman simply fell to her death.
The clip ends before we see the immediate consequences of Abigail Marston's "death". Grievous-gaming reports in the comments of his Reddit thread that Abigail's body then disappeared and John Marston's wife no longer showed up at Marston Farm. Understandable.
Did Rockstar Abigail predict "death"?
What particularly fascinates the fans of Red Dead Redemption 2 in the scene: Obviously, Rockstar Games expected Abigail Marston to plunge to death on whatever occasion. Otherwise, the character would hardly have been given a sound recording that fits exactly into such a situation.
The Reddit users also jokingly speculate whether this is part of a conspiracy created by Rockstar or whether Abigail's "death" would point to the existence of an Undead Nightmare 2.

After all, Abigail is in the DLC for the first Red Dead Redemption also "died" or was at least zombifiedjust to return to the living at the end of this non-canon story. However, the magnificent Red Dead 2 scene will only have been a funny coincidence, which fortunately grievous-gaming captured for the internet.
