The game world of Red Dead Redemption 2 is full of small details and secrets. Many of these have not yet been aired, even though players go to great lengths to get to the bottom of every mystery. A Reddit user now has tragic fate of the missing athlete team from Blackwater revealed and made a gruesome discovery.
What happened to the missing athlete team from Blackwater?
Arthur Morgan learns about one of the missing athletes club from the city of Blackwater Newspaper article. It reports that the members of this team never came back from a training run. Since then, the athletes have been missing from their families and friends who fear the worst.
Unfortunately, these humidifications should prove to be true. On reddit, user mosessargent85 shared his discovery, which clarifies the fate of the missing team of athletes: he crashed into near Evelyn Miller Camp in Tall Trees Mass gravein which the bodies of the missing athletes can be found. Particularly worrying: the dead athletes sometimes carry a sack over their heads, some of them are even made up in a disturbing way.
This clarifies what happened to the athletes, but not who is responsible for the murder of the team. The newspaper section speculates that Indians could be the culprits. However, this would contradict that the local tribes there have not been bothering Blackwater residents for years. In addition, there are no indications or traces in the grave that would speak for it.
On Reddit, Red Dead Redemption 2 players suspect that the Skinner gang could be responsible for the murder of the athlete club. In the epilogue of the game, John Marston is dealing with this psychopathic gang of criminals who are up to mischief around Blackwater.
However, this crime appears to be somewhat "tame" for the Skinner gang, who are usually their victims skins alive – or (worse) does worse. Even if the aspect that the dead athletes were equipped with make-up headgear is damn disturbing.
Not quite as secret
In Red Dead Redemption 2 it is not possible to finally clarify whether the missing athletes were actually murdered by the Skinners or were the victims of another wrongdoer. In fact, players found the mass grave before mosessargent85 and shared their discovery on Reddit or Youtube.
