After Halloween, that doesn’t mean we don’t want to be afraid anymore. The Wild West has some nice surprises in store for Red Dead Redemption fans on PC.
Years where players hoped Rockstar would surprise them. But 3 years after its publication and several explanations to remind us of it, we have to choose. An expansion to Red Dead Redemption II will only remain a dream. We’ve been telling you everything about Red Dead Online for ages. But we can always count on amateur developers to make us happy. Especially if they are inspired by a tried and tested single player DLC: the very undead Undead Nightmare. Never appeared on PC, absolutely.
Undead Nightmare II
A group of modders uploaded Undead Nightmare II: Origins a few days ago. For free download on nexxusmods, this 350 MB program takes up the main lines of the apocalyptic “sequel” of Red Dead Redemption.
Residents set cities on fire to kill the living dead, some lunged to protect their families, while others died on the streets. Local shopkeepers fled or embarked to defend themselves against looters hiding supplies across the city. The law has bigger problems to solve. New Austin has been hardest hit, with a small number of deaths still roaming the five states but mostly controlled by law … for now.
In conclusion, thanks to Dick Hertz, Eki, SgtJoe and Bolmin, you are returning in the footsteps of a late John Marston and exploring the American West in a new light. For once really new, because the mood has completely changed. Whether you’re traveling to Armadillo, Blackwater, or the plains, the bottom line is the same: the end of the world is at hand.
Another world
Lit by a red moon and trapped in thick fog, the New Austin area is out of control. The streets are on fire, the houses and ranches are barricaded … And even the survivors can become your enemies. In order not to spoil anything, the group of amateur developers also worked on the sound atmosphere. And suddenly it’s less playful.
