remake of the original Red Dead Redemption: Redemption Might be coming soon, as the game will have a new age rating.
As Gematsu discovered, as is the case with many games ahead of their official release, the Korean Game Rating and Management Council (GRAC) last week issued a new rating for the PS3/Xbox 360 classic Red Dead Redemption. According to the ratings, it’s exclusively for the console version of the game, and although it’s listed as such, that doesn’t necessarily mean the PC version won’t be coming either. It’s worth noting that GRAC previously rated the original version of Red Dead Redemption, so it looks like this could be a new release.

Last year, there were actually some rumors about a Red Dead Redemption remake and a Grand Theft Auto IV remake, but according to a report at the time, due to the poor reception of GTA’s release, the two have not been released. Two games are said to have been shelved: Trilogy – Definitive Edition.
According to Kotaku’s sources, Rockstar realized there was “overwhelming demand” for a modern version of the original Red Dead Redemption. The outlet was initially told that the project had been put on hold, but has now learned that the Red Dead Redemption remake isn’t dead, it’s just been put on hold. pause Not until Rockstar gets closer to GTA 6’s release, or maybe after.
First released on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2010, Red Dead Redemption is the follow-up to 2004’s Red Dead Redemption: Revolver. It was a critical and commercial success, and later received a standalone spin-off expansion, Nightmare of the Undead, featuring an alternate timeline in which the characters must deal with a zombie plague. Since there’s very little information on the potential remaster, there’s also no word on whether Undead Nightmare will be included in the release, so we’ll have to wait for an official announcement.
