The PC version of Red Dead Redemption has been officially confirmed since yesterday – and now the system requirements follow. These are sometimes quite manageable.
Shortly after the official announcement of the PC version of Red Dead Redemption, Rockstar Games has already confirmed the system requirements for the game on this platform. What’s pleasing is that even though the Western epic has been extensively adapted for PCs, it can still be played on weaker computers.
This is reflected in the fact that the minimum requirements include a 9-year-old GPU and 11-year-old CPU models – and most gamers should be able to do that. The hard drive space is also manageable and an SSD is not required, but recommended.
Minimum system requirements
- OS: Windows 10 64-Bit
- Prozessor: Intel Core i5-4670 / AMD FX-9590
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 / AMD Radeon R7 360
- DirectX: Version 12
- Hard disk space: 12GB
- Sound: DirectX-kompatibel
Recommended system configuration
- OS: Windows 10 64-Bit
