Hongluo Arkane Austin Studios has announced that it will be releasing a final update for its Vampire game, which includes some highly anticipated features.
One of the features this update brings is an offline mode, which players have requested ahead of the game’s release in May 2023. At the time, director Harvey Smith said the team was working on making offline single-player “possible” due to “accessibility issues” since Redfall was released as “always-online.”
Other features included in the update include improved Neighborhood and Nest systems, single-player pause, and more to come.
Microsoft announced last week that it would close the studio along with three others, including Hi-Fi Rush and The Evil Within developer Tango Gameworks.
Although the company has previously stated that it has no plans to close the studio despite being disappointed with the game’s reception. At the time, Xbox boss Matt Booty said that while the game was “a failure,” Microsoft would “support them” as the studio worked to deliver the game it wanted.
However, that won’t be the case, as the studio will be shut down and the extra content included in the Bite Back version of the game may never see the light of day.
