Control and Alan Wake developer Remedy revealed some information about what will keep it busy in the coming months.
Remedy entertainment The company released financial results for the year ended December 31. The control developer's income increased by 57% year-on-year, which was mainly the result of the control's sales.
The studio has now completed the first phase of its expansion, which will allow it to work on multiple projects simultaneously. With the delivery of Control, Remedy is now working on four other projects.
A team is working on two upcoming extensions to the game, which will be released this year. Another has launched a second Crossfire project, which is separate from the Crossfire X story campaign, and appears to be complete.
A third team is working on Vanguard, a multiplayer real-time service project that has now delivered an internal playable version. Interestingly, Vanguard is not built on Remedy's Northlight game engine. Developers also don't want it to be released in 2020.
Entering the pre-production phase with Vanguard is an unannounced game handled by a fourth team. In this way, Remedy's total number of employees reaches 248 full-time members, scattered across different projects.
