Remnant II was released a year ago, and now one last DLC for the action game is set to follow.
The sequel Remnant II was released in July 2023 and was received largely positively. In it, you will face action-packed battles against sometimes grotesque boss enemies, alone or in co-op with friends. Just in time for the first birthday, the third and final DLC for the title has now been announced, called “The Dark Horizon”.
The release of this last additional content is scheduled for September 2024. The makers describe it as the biggest DLC for the title to date, but according to developer Gunfire Games, it will also be released a little later than initially planned. Actually, all three planned DLC packages should have been available within a year of the release of the main game – but that’s not quite working out.
The additional content is supposed to bring plenty of new content that you are used to from Remnant. The developers are also working on a new game mode that will be offered to all players free of charge, apart from the additional content. This mode, along with a new progression system, will be presented shortly.
A concrete release date for “The Lost Horizon” beyond the general indication of September 2024 has not yet been set.
