Remnant II, released last summer, continues to be provided with new content by Gunfire Games. The release of the second DLC package called “The Forgotten Kingdom” is scheduled for April.
The developers at Gunfire Games have prepared a second additional content for Remnant II with “The Forgotten Kingdom”. This should be available this month, namely on April 23, 2024, for the PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms. The retail price for the good piece, which marks the second part of a three-part DLC bundle for Remnant II, will cost 9.99 dollars.
The Forgotten Kingdoms introduces you to the forgotten history of the lost tribe of Yaesha, which you must uncover to appease the vengeful nature of an ancient stone spirit named Lydusa. You follow the trails of torture, betrayal and death that plague the land and its temple towers, as Lydusa’s living stones roam the ruins of the ancient civilization in search of fresh blood.
In the new location you can enter new vaults, of course also find fresh equipment and meet unexpected allies. The new items include, for example, the new archetype “The Caller”. However: Of course, new threats also await you!
Officially, the features of the second DLC pack for Remnant II are stated as follows:
- New storyline, dungeons and areas in the world of Yaesha: Players will delve deeper into the world of Yaesha and experience a brand new storyline in which they will unravel the mystery of the lost tribe and a vengeful stone spirit named Lydusa and her living stones.
- New Archetype – The Caller: This new archetype draws its strength from Yaesha’s nature spirits and harnesses the mystical power of the jungle. More details about the archetype will be released in a reveal trailer next week.
- Lots of items and powerful weapons that improve gameplay: The Wanderer can choose from a range of new weapons, modifications, new items, amulets and rings to survive this deadlier version of Yaesha.
- New bosses, characters and fearsome creatures: Mysterious dangers and survivors of unknown origin rise from the ruins of Yaesha’s forgotten civilizations, presenting new challenges for players.
The complete DLC bundle with all additional content is available for 24.99 dollars for the co-op survival shooter. In it you get access to the already released DLC “The Awakened King”, the new additional content “The Forgotten Kingdom” and the final part of the series, which is still pending and is scheduled to be published later this year.
With “The Forgotten Kingdom,” Remnant II will receive a second DLC in April.
