Resident Evil 3 Remake suffered from performance problems on Xbox One X on its release on April 3, since, due to a higher resolution, it was impossible to keep the image rate stable and it dropped dramatically. After listening to feedback from users, Capcom quickly launched An update that fixes this problem in a remarkable way and puts this version on par with PS4 Pro.
Through this patch (via Digital Foundry), what Capcom has done is lower native 4K resolution to 2880 × 1620, and rebuild the image in the same way that happens in the version of the Sony console. In this way, the loss of visual quality is minimal, but Xbox One x manages to maintain a rate of 60 fps in a much more stable way by having to move fewer pixels. The result is a much more fluid and stable performance in both gameplay and cinematics.
The best thing is that to test this performance improvement, it will not be necessary to buy the complete game, since the demo of Resident Evil 3 Remake has also been updated in this way so that all those who decide to try the Jill Valentine adventure, find the best possible version.
