What if you are Resident Evil 4, you’re most likely a fan of briefcase storage too. Finding the most convenient way to cram your belongings all into one box may not be everyone’s favorite pastime, but reorganizing your Leon or Ada’s storage is definitely an oddly satisfying time for many.

So far, Alex and I have talked about Resident Evil 4 Remake and what we can expect.

In fact, briefcase item storage is so popular that someone made their own spin-off game. Save Room – Organization Puzzle literally takes the Resident Evil 4 briefcase, and even some of the items you’d normally expect to find in it, and makes it its own.

The goal of the game is to put everything in your briefcase for each level, which is almost a natural thing to do if you’ve ever played Resident Evil 4. Having said that, a game just for restocking isn’t a great game, but it shows just how popular the Resident Evil 4 Briefcase really is.

As good as the original, what do you think?

Recently, I spent some time playing the beginning of Resident Evil 4 Remake, and I’m pretty impressed with where it’s going. In the beginning, there are a few things I need to know; how has the battle changed? Does Leon still say “Bingo”? How scary does the Chainsaw Man look now?

Among the questions I seem to have answered, I also want to know what the stock looks like. Will we still have briefcases, giving me another reason to waste time transferring ammo into slots and doing anything, instead of playing the real game?

In fact, briefcases do exist. Visually, it’s also relatively unscathed. This is one of the small changes that Resident Evil Village could have included again, but didn’t. While Village’s inventory space is still reminiscent of a briefcase, it’s still no match for Resident Evil 4’s inventory.

The only unanswered question about the briefcase is upgrading it. During the reshoots, I regretted not seeing the illusory merchant, nor the merchandise he offered, such as case upgrades. So for now, we’ll have to wait and see to see if our briefcase organization aspirations are fully fulfilled, however, I doubt merchants will still be involved. Why doesn’t he?
