Resident Evil 4 Remake’s Mercenary Mode Coming in April

Today is the day many of us have been waiting for, Resident Evil 4 Remake is now out and playable in The Wild! Capcom shared a shiny new launch trailer with fans, which also details when we can expect RE4 Mercenary mode becomes available.

For those unfamiliar with mercenaries, it’s a game mode often seen in Resident Evil games that pits you against hordes. Target? Kill as many fearsome enemies as you can before they kill you or before the timer runs out.

Dropped in Resident Evil 4 Remake’s launch trailer, players can look forward to jumping into the beloved Mercenary mode April 7. As has been the case in the past, you will most likely need to complete the game at least once to unlock the mode.

When you play as a mercenary, your efforts will be rewarded with rankings based on your performance. You’ll also have a range of characters to play as different loadouts, and each stage of the mercenary will often feature a different setting and a different set of enemies. It’s nice and fun when you’re done with Leon and Ashley’s adventures.

It’s a pity we had to wait! Alas, April 7th isn’t that far away. When Resident Evil 4 Remake’s Mercenary Mode arrives, will you try it?
