News culture Resident Evil 5: The soundtrack on triple vinyl
Laced Records and Capcom are working together to bring us the music of Resident Evil 5 in a deluxe triple vinyl.
The triple vinyl contains 50 tracks that have been remastered from the original Resident Evil 5 soundtrack and recorded by the Hollywood Studio Symphony Orchestra on 180-gram discs enclosed in a rigid gatefold with three inner sleeves. Buyers can enjoy artwork from Capcom and Boris Moncel from Blackmane Design. Offered in France by For games only
Kota Suzuki provided his first music for the series and led a composition team that included Hideki Okugawa, Akihiko Narita, Seiko Kobuchi, and Wataru Hokoyama. For the first time in a Resident Evil title, the soundtrack benefited from live orchestral recordings thanks to the Hollywood Studio Symphony Orchestra. The theme song “Pray” was performed by singer Oulimata Niang.
