Resident Evil 7, 2 & 3 features ray tracing with drivers

drivers, Evil, features, Ray, Resident, Tracing

As is often the case when approaching big games, Nvidia takes the opportunity to release drivers. This time it’s all about bringing ray tracing to “new” titles. You should remember that.

As we saw at the Capcom conference yesterday, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7 are getting a next-gen update. This obviously affects PC as well, and Nvidia is particularly sticking to it by adding RTX.

Spotlight on Resident Evil

This new ray tracing option allows to improve the illumination and the global reflections of the game.Warning, at the moment Nvidia DLSS is not yet available. It is therefore better to be equipped with a good machine. The RTX update also affects the expected DLC for Jurassic World Evolution 2, which will also benefit from the effects of RTX. The DLC in question is Dominion Biosyn and it focuses on content from the latest film.

9 new “ready” Nvidia GeForce Experience games

Additionally, 9 new games benefit from optimal game settings thanks to GeForce Experience settings, which, for the record, allow gamers to instantly configure a game’s options to suit your configuration.

Over 1000 titles are supported by Nvidia, but the latest driver adds:

  • dolmens
  • Evil Dead: The Game
  • Five Nights at Freddy’s: Vulnerability
  • My time at Sandrock
  • Paradise Killer
  • Sniper Elite 5
  • V Rising Vampire: The Masquerade – Swan Song
  • Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate
