From time to time Capcom updates the figures of its most successful video games to show how well each of them has done in stores. The latest data correspond to the units that have been purchased from March 31 to June 30 of this year, which is the second quarter of 2021.
Only those titles that are part of the Platinum range appear on the list, which are those that have exceeded one million units sold. Thus we can observe that Resident Evil 7 remains unstoppable and is nowhere near 10 million copies, ranking with a total of 9.8 million after adding 800,000 more units during these last months.
It also highlights Monster Hunter Rise, one of the last installments of the saga that was published last March on Nintendo Switch and that already going for 7.3 million. And we can’t ignore the launch of Resident Evil Village with its 4.5 million.
Of course, the one that remains at the head of the table is Monster Hunter World
- Monster Hunter World – 17,3 millones
- Resident Evil 7 – 9,8 millones
- Resident Evil 2 (Remake) – 8.6 million
- Monster Hunter World: Iceborne – 8.2 million
- Resident Evil 5 – 7.9 million
- Resident Evil 6 – 7.9 million
- Monster Hunter Rise – 7,3 millones
- Street Fighter II – 6,3 millones
- Street Fighter V – 5.8 million
- Resident Evil 2 – 4,96 millones
