A horde of rumors and leaks have swept the networks giving light to what was a demonstration of the next game in the Resident Evil saga, and whose ambassadors skipped the confidentiality contract. Like any rumor it should not be taken as truthful information, since Campcom, the company in charge, has not released any official message regarding these leaks. Without further ado, next Resident Evil could be called Village, would be starring Ethan Winters (protagonist of RE7), would be in the first person and perhaps would be released in early 2021 for the new and the current generation.
A recent report from Gematsu points out that given the similar characteristics with the previous RE, this could have the option of playing in virtual reality glasses. Also, this report addresses all the similarities of the upcoming title with what seems like its inspiration, Resident Evil 4 and the never released Resident Evil 3.5. For now, there is no information confirmed by the study, so these are just rumors. We will have to wait for Capcom to present a statement.
