Resident Evil Re:Verse Possibly, finally coming out soon, as it was recently rated for the Stadia version of the game in Europe.
As Gematsu discovered, the silence in the Resident Evil Re:Verse news has been broken by PEGI’s 18 points for the Stadia game. That’s pretty much it, but we haven’t really heard anything about the game since it was delayed until sometime in 2022. According to Gematsu, the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game were rated a year ago on May 7, which is odd considering how much delay the game received.
Thanks to the beta, we’ve seen some gameplay from the six-player deathmatch game here and there, but again, there’s been an odd silence around it since the delay. In it, players can mutate themselves into various Resi monsters so they can stand out. Of course, players can also play as a series of heroes and villains, such as Claire Redfield, Leon, Ada, Jill, Hank and Chris. A match can have four to six players, and once one player dies, their body turns into a powerful bioweapon that other players can use against each other.
Multiplayer was meant to be free, and every instance was hugely popular Resident Evil VillageObviously, that didn’t end up happening, but I think a lot of players are just content with being everyone’s favorite tall woman, Ms. Dimitrescu.
Ratings usually hint at something about when a game will be released, so Stadia’s rating at least means the release date is coming.
If it comes out really soon, at least it will keep everyone busy while waiting for the rumors Resident Evil 4 The remake of Resi creator Shinji Mikami really wanted to be better than the original.
