Resident Evil Resistance: Capcom confirms two more masterminds

With Resident Evil Resistance, the approaching Resident Evil 3 remake gets a brand new asynchronous multiplayer mode. In this, two more masterminds will be up to mischief, as Capcom announced today.

In a press release, Capcom confirmed two more masterminds for the asymmetrical multiplayer mode Resident Evil Resistsance within Resident Evil 3's survival horror remake tonight. Accordingly, the notorious villains Alex Wesker and Ozwell E. Spencer will spread their terror there.

Franchise fans know Alex Wesker from Resident Evil Revelations 2 and may remember that she prefers to use indirect means to achieve her goals. As an opponent who enjoys achieving her goals through psychological horrors and experiments, she is a perfect mastermind. In her role, you can manipulate the environment with traps, roadblocks and improved zombies, slowing the survivors' progress. But that's not all: If Alex is really serious, she can fall back on a malicious carnivorous plant called Yateveo: This deadly bio-weapon, when placed in the right place, can be a powerful obstacle that keeps survivors from escaping.

Ozwell E. Spencer, on the other hand, is a shadowy antagonist of the Resident Evil series who prefers to let others do his dirty work. Pursued as the fourth mastermind

Ozwell is now taking a more practical approach. As one of the founders of Umbrella Corporation, he enjoys using the latest company technology to torture survivors. Unlike the other masterminds who summon controllable bioweapons, Ozwell creates a disintegration field that severely damages any survivor who crosses it.
