Game news Resident Evil Village: A mystical and terrifying creature could have joined vampires and lycans!
As the month of April begins, we’re gradually approaching the anniversary of the release of Resident Evil Village. At the moment, it’s difficult to know what the future of the franchise holds for us: if tongues struggle to loosen themselves about forthcoming projects, those already released are more talkative and still provide us with some well-kept secrets, such as the one from a earlier version of the eighth part of the saga.
Summary
- No news, good news?
- Capcom sounded the alarm siren
No news, good news?
One month to the day Resident Evil Village is celebrating its one-year anniversary, but Capcom’s horror franchise has been dead quiet for the past few months.
On the contrary, since its release, the latest addition to the Resident Evil franchise has excelled at numerous events. of the golden joystick to the DICE awards pass the BAFTAs. While he didn’t necessarily bring back statuettes every time, Capcom’s reports tell of nice revenue generated by this eighth episode.
Those who’ve completed Ethan Winters’ latest odyssey can’t wait to find out what’s at stake in the ninth installment. However, Capcom is reluctant to disclose information on the matter. In the meantime, some of the most curious players go in search of information: A handful come back empty-handed when others find what they are looking for… but the episode, released in May 2021, is far from revealing all of its secrets!

Much like Lady Dimitrescu and her three daughters, one of this installment’s monstrous antagonists could have initially counted on the help of mythical creatures to hunt down the character of Ethan Winter.
(1/7) I’ve been thinking about it, so I’m going to talk about it. Moreau’s RE8 area has been trimmed heavily, I don’t think I actually sat down and explained in detail what I knew about Moreau’s swamp area before it was trimmed, so I think I’ll do it now.

In fact, our hero could have fought mermaids in this area, especially during the water phases, and witnessed a series of bizarre events and other very suspicious rituals.. Unfortunately, due to lack of time and funding, Capcom had to make decisions and amputate this area of certain content. A sad situation, certainly, but we can thank Capcom for saving our hearts by sparing us the fear of being dragged down the abyss by a group of devilish sirens!
