A record number of simultaneous players
IGN shared information based on the SteamDB database: the game brought together more than 101,000 simultaneous players on the platform on the night of its release, a record turnout for the license. By comparison, the Resident Evil 2 remake had attracted 74,227 players, and the Resident Evil 3 remake had barely overtaken 60,000 players. Numbers that are only good for the rest of the license.
