Retro Studios works at Metroid Prime 4, a restarted project, but years ago there would have been explored several canceled games including titles related to The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario.

One of his works would belong to the preproduction of a "canceled Zelda project" starring Sheik that was running between 2005 and 2008. Supposedly this action RPG that never got past pre-production would be "ten times stranger" than the Zelda usual, starting from the bad end of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
The other game belongs to a "Boo canceled project" between 2006 and 2007, and although there are hardly any details, one of the illustrations mentions small laptop resolutions, which suggests it was intended for the Nintendo DS, the Nintendo laptop in those years.
Metroid Prime 4 still without a release date
