The first option makes it possible to define the precise goals of the academy and its means. The user interface is undoubtedly the most ergonomic of its kind, we like navigating through the menus without getting lost in the information overload. The big downside comes mainly from the difficulty slider : Very often, if the results of competing athletes outside the academy reflect reality, recruiting a high-potential hopeful will result in them climbing very high up the rankings, and too quickly. On the other hand we struggled a lot to get young or big players who lost a lot back into shape and having a few more chances to get up the slope wouldn’t have been too much. The possibility of playing doubles games as well.
