The animated sitcom Rick and Morty is being animated… again. This time as an anime, either with Japanese voice acting and English subtitles or with new English dubbing (without the original voice actors from the cartoon series). There have already been several short films, the actual series will start exclusively on Adult Swim on August 16, 2024, a day later on Max (formerly HBO) and will then be released weekly. The finale will be broadcast on October 18. Takashi Sano, who has already worked as an artist on Vinland Saga and other anime, is on board as director.
