Weekend is PAX East, there are a lot of great games to excite you, and now more.

Welcome to our new features highlighting the best indie games of the week. To celebrate PAX East 2020, most games in this week's release show new graphics or new details throughout the show.

As always, we bring together different styles of game titles from different genres to bring us an exciting eclectic game. We also kept the "Games to play this weekend" section, and for those who haven't participated in the show, there will be a lot of activities this weekend.

Let us be in trouble.

Popular Indie Game Week on February 24

Spirit warrior

Spiritfarer is perhaps the most sincere and touching game we have included in this feature. The game was first released last year on E3, making many people confused. At PAX East, developer Thunder Lotus dropped the first game trailer to provide a deeper understanding.

In Spiritfarer, you play the role of a ferry captain, taking care of a group of adorable anthropomorphic animals and realizing their ultimate aspirations as they pass to the afterlife. The East Pacific PAX picture shows the main loop of the game, which is based on maintaining and upgrading the houseboat you are responsible for and meeting the needs of your friends. This is done through different resource collection methods, such as mining, fishing and cooking.

The new trailer will remind us that Spiritfarer is also a game designed to learn farewell, which is what is served in the game. Spiritfarer will enter PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch this year.

When released, it will also be available on Xbox Game Pass (PC and Xbox). Add it to your Steam wishlist.

Samurai Jack: Fighting through time and space

I don't know much about the anime of "Samurai Jack", but I remember having a good time in PS2 game "Shadow of Aku". You can sell me an action game without spending a lot of money, letting a samurai spin with a katana.

The creators of Samurai Jack once again tried their luck with the new game. Samurai Jack: Traveling Through Time announced the Switch for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Soleil this week. The developer's pedigree is a bit complicated, having worked in Naruto and Naruto: Shinobi Striker and Devil's Devil & # 39; s Third.

A short trailer released this week shows a good battle with various weapons. Although there is little to do there, it is still very promising. We hope to see more information on PAX East. Until then, you can follow Steam's Time and Space page.

Aries and the secrets of the four seasons

"Ary and Seasons" is a wild breathing action adventure film starring a young girl who can control the season. This power is the key to the core mechanics of the game.

Ary has the ability to change the seasons in any given area, thereby significantly changing the environment. Spring, summer, autumn, and winter all provide unique properties on request. As you can imagine, it is used to traverse and solve puzzles.

The world of the game is divided into four regions, each representing a different season. In each area, you will explore customized locations with your own residents and discover secrets. From the small combat clips shown, we seem to be manipulating the environment and different objects inside like the usual sm head.

For the heroine Aryelle, this is also a story of self-discovery, she has taken risks since she was a child, taking on the responsibility traditionally assigned to men. "Ary and Seasons of the Season" will be released on Steam, PS4, Xbox One and Switch this summer.

Games to play this weekend

Offspring

Descenders is an extreme sports game where you can bike downhill and try to avoid suicide as much as possible, and received a major update this week.

During development, Descenders developer Ragesquid relies entirely on program-generated paths to fill the game world. After adding mod support last year, developers realized the need for custom crafted parks. As a result, the team added a new section dedicated to showcasing the best work in the community.

Lagskyd also created his own park, which can be found in the same section. Descenders is a niche game, but it is one of the great downhill cycling games in most accounts.

To celebrate the new content, Descenders is free to play on Steam throughout the weekend, and here you can also enjoy a 40% discount and the price drops to $ 15.

See how far you can go on your own or challenge friends in multiplayer games.

Light Knight

In the past, we have reported on The Knight of Light several times. This Egyptian action role-playing game is inspired by The Witcher, Mount and Sword. Developers can finally play the game for the world, which has been in development for three years. The preface to "Knight of Light" will be available early on Steam on February 29th.

The story of the game takes place in Iraq in the 7th century, when Muslims conquered the area and clashed with the ruling Sasanian Empire. The main game will focus on the Al Qaeda campaign, but the preamble is dedicated to events that lead to small-scale conflicts.

The gameplay of "Knight of Light" follows the team's inspiration. The action switches from third-person melee and ranged combat to the strategic level, where you can command and direct the troops. There are two playable characters, each with unique skills.

Developer Rumbling Games estimates that it will spend about two years in Early Access, with more tasks, locations, and movies to come.

The professional game development scene in Egypt is very young and does not have much experience, so it looks worth a look. Click on the Knight of Light's Steam page for more information.

Edgar: Bockbok at Bolzak

Edgar: Boulkac's Bokbok debuted on PC, PS4 and Switch on Wednesday. Boulzac's Bokbok is a comedy adventure game starring a farmer and his hen. La Poule Noire's first game has a whimsical look and is inspired by the French countryside.

Although the hero is an amateur farmer, we don't actually do much agricultural activities in Bokbok in Burzac. Instead, the story revolves around revealing the secrets that Burzak residents don't want you to dig.

The trailer will not give too much to others, because this is a short game. La Poule Noire says it will take you about 2 to 5 hours to complete. If you are looking for something else, check out Edgar on Boulzac's Steam page: Bokbok. It is now priced at $ 19.

Comanche

I will be the first to admit that multiplayer games are completely different from what THQ Nordic calls the classic Comanche series. However, I also know that it is better to judge such a game-rich project with a few seconds of lens.

Throughout the weekend, developer Nukklear will give everyone an opportunity to see if the new Comanche deserves the name. Helicopter shooter is hosting a public beta that lasts until Monday.

Multiplayer Beta includes training mode and some 4v4 multiplayer actions. At the very least, it should give us a good understanding of the mechanisms that underpin the entire process.

In addition to the beta, Nukklear also announced that Comanche will no longer be a multiplayer-only game and plans to launch some Early Access with single-player content that expands over time.

You can participate by downloading a beta version on Steam.
