Riders Republic from Ubisoft has been available since autumn last year – and now fresh content is following in the form of a second season.
Ubisoft has announced that the second season of Riders Republic will be launched tomorrow, Tuesday, April 26th. Showdown will then be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Stadia and Pc.
What can you specifically expect? First and foremost, the eponymous showdown arena is new on board. There you can discover your own multiplayer mode in which you have to compete in an exciting 6v6. Two teams compete to collect as many lightning bolts as possible. New toys can also be unlocked, which make a completely new style of play possible.
There are also new mass start races and special outfits, session markers and the new manual mode. An in-game friends list can also be created in the future, and with the clan feature you can build your own community.
Another innovation: the progression of the season with seven weekly spotlights. This feature allows you to unlock exclusive rewards and participate in live activities and events. For example, the Rabbids Takeover event will start on May 18th.
Those who purchase the Year 1 Pass get early access to two new toys: the Spider and the Juggernaut. Both will also be available as a bundle in Showdown Mode, along with the exclusive sniper toy.
Riders Republic has a Free Weekend for PlayStation 5, PlayStation4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles, beginning February 10 at 5 p.m. and ending February 14 at 8 p.m. All players have full access to the base game content during the free weekend.
